You will also be responsible for defining strategy for cardiovascular projects in clinical development, as well as the oversight and interpretation of clinical trials, and interactions with other departments across the company including commercial, regulatory, preclinical and research.The successful candidate will have strong clinical credentials in Cardiology plus academic laboratory or clinical research experience. Biotechnology/pharmaceutical experience is preferred (2-5 years), along with experience in clinical development and/or business development. Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills, as well as analytical and writing skills are critical.
