Job Description:
The selected individual will work very closely with the Medical Director and Director of Clinical Operations as well as other cross-functional teams and clinical staff to ensure successful completion of all clinical activities within the required time frame and funding parameters. This individual will be accountable for ensuring that all project deliverables meet the expectations of senior management and the program team. This individual will be responsible for identifying, hiring, developing, and retaining the Clinical Project Managers. This individual is responsible for the overall clinical program budget. Duties and Responsibilities: Responsible and accountable for the deliverables of multiple global clinical trialsLeverages resources, expertise and knowledge across multiple projects to ensure attainment of project deliverables in keeping with corporate and department goalsProvides input into the development of global clinical strategies Prepares, manages and is accountable for program budgetLead multi-functional team responsible for implementation of clinical trialResponsible, either directly or through Clinical Project Manager, for site selection and contracting, including negotiation of budgets through completion of contract.
