Direct manufacturing and distribution operations through a team of functional managers and front line supervisors2) Formulate, manage and achieve short and long-term operating objectives for safety and quality performance, cost management, efficiency improvements and overall customer service3) Promote positive employee relations and continuous improvement4) Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations5) Develop and implement plans to achieve appropriate volume of production for each product6) Manage all costs to exceed cost per gallon targets7) Set plant, warehouse and distribution budgets8) Manage expenses to fall within or better than plan9) Supervise Plant, Warehouse and Distribution leadership teams, ensure their functional objectives are being carried out and coach them towards improved performance as well as working jointly as a single team10) Manage all plant variances to meet or exceed plan11) Determine and manage operations headcount12) Work with Direct Reports to balance staffing for meeting labor needs13) Oversee expanding capital installations and integrate new customers and product lines into existing production and distribution14) Provide leadership for effective employee relations through positive communication, coaching, training, problem resolution, etc.15) Ensure product quality meets or exceeds established standards16) Manage safety programs and procedures to exceed company goals on lost-time accidents and recordable injuries.
