Job Description:

You will have proven capability in use of open-source software (such as BioConductor) and custom analytical software to analyze the quality of a large quantity of data and in the use of open-source and custom analytical software to normalize data and perform higher-level analysis of high-throughput genomic and other datasets. You will have the ability to design bio-molecules likely to bind to their compliment. You will also has duties to instruct biologists to use some common bioinformatics tools and have an understanding of commercially available bioinformatics/clinical genomics tools and databases. You will have an in-depth understanding of analysis and processing of data from various post genomic technologies and their application towards development of new technology platforms (Statistical analysis and integration of genotyping, gene expression, chromosomal copy number and structural computational biology datasets, classification, clustering and machine learning). Finally, you will be responsible for applying expertise to generate new informatics strategies and algorithms based on novel data sets.
