Job Description:
Immediate PT opening for a Research Associate in our Clinical Support Lab with SAIC Frederick, Inc., in Frederick. You will provide dedicated cell culture, cryopreservation, database entry/documentation and general support to the lab, which processes human blood and tissue including development of immortalized human B cell lines and generation of primary fibroblast cultures. Work involves exposure to human blood, blood products and biopsy (primarily skin biopsy) materials as well as cultured cell lines. This part time position is anticipated to be 20 hr/wk.

Job Requirements:
B.S. degree from an accredited college/university in a field related to biomedical research or 4 yrs equiv exp. in the appropriate field in lieu of degree & 2 yrs related lab exp. required. Competence, knowledge, and experience in clinical specimen processing and accountability and previous cell culture experience required.
