Job Description:
Design Engineering including initiating and implementing new designs or upgrades to either electrical or mechanical systems which require position holder to be technically competent in analyzing design concepts and improvements Related activities such as troubleshooting equipment, developing and implementing preventative maintenance programs and procedures Coordinating safety initiatives, providing technical support during equipment outages, working with cross-functional teams to develop process and production improvements Ensure that all direct reports are appropriately trained and comply with Total Quality Management system. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Ability to design line configurations. Fabrication, knowledge of Metals. Knowledge of Blending System, Scales, Conveyors, Sealers, Printers, Metal Detectors, Check Weigher, Motors and the integration thereof. Project Management experience in Manufacturing Fluent in blueprints and schematics Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to interface with internal and external customers and senior company management. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Ability to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis of variance, correlation techniques, sampling theory, and factor analysis.
