Job Description:
Perform research projects and prepare memoranda for partners in the Tax Group. Work with tax colleagues throughout the Firm in preparing transfer pricing analyses and supporting documentation; and prepare requests for and actively participate in negotiations of advance pricing agreements; and prepare requests for competent authority assistance under the mutual agreement provisions of US bilateral income tax treaties. Maintain direct client contact responsibilities and perform a principal role in communicating with the Firm's major Japanese multinational clients. Provide essential services by explaining the complex US tax laws to Japanese clients. Participate in preparing articles, presentations and other submissions for, or on behalf of ,Tax Sections of Bar Associations, such as the American Bar Association, the District of Columbia Bar Association and the Federal Bar Association.

Licensed to practice in DC
Four years’ experience in International Tax Law in a law firm setting
