Job Description:

The Clinical Trial Manager (CTM) is responsible for supervising the administration and progress of clinical trials including work completed by contract research organizations (CROs) and independent consultants. The CTM will primarily provide quality assurance oversight monitoring of those contracted resources. The CTM will assist the clinical research, clinical ops and drug development in the implementation of clinical projects by gathering information concerning therapeutic areas; reviewing service agreements and project work orders; write/review protocol synopses and protocols; review study specific documents; interview and assess capabilities of CROs and service vendors for special clinical trials; identify timelines and work to maintain them; identify investigators and assess their suitability; assist in the management of clinical trial medications and supplies; interact with IVRS companies; attend investigator meetings; attend initiation meetings and site visits; assist in the training of CRAs.
