Candidate must have experience in Food/Beverage industry.Position is very hands on as the plant is highly automated.Ideal candidate should be equally minded in the following aspects of the plant: production, maintenance, and engineering.Lead the packaging dept. to achieve shift performance targets. Responsible for health and safety of employees and quality of production by following all GMP's, complying with all legally required Health and Safety and HACCP regulations and meeting customer expectations.Prepare daily KPI's per line, per shift, ensuring all down time is accurately documented by hourly team members.Manage shift handover meetings with incoming supervisors to review immediate equipment and people issues.Supervise up to 30 hourly employees.Manage performances of employees through direct reports and providing leadership through coaching, and feedback.Audit and authorize hours worked through time and attendance system, and reconcile payroll swipes with the time sheets completed by employee.
