Job Description:
Ensure that business leaders are making informed decisions about the total costs and risks of technical/business initiatives. Assist IT organization in developing appropriate cost allocations and budgeting.· Manage feasibility studies and forecasting of hardware and software needs of client-sponsored projects, in conjunction with the Program Management Office and business sponsors; provides management perspective and technical advice, as appropriate.· Create and sustain business literacy and understanding of business processes in the IT organization.· Facilitate the communication within the IT organization and between the business and external groups.· Research, evaluate and propose new technologies and tools to achieve corporate and Information Technology (IT) objectives and strategies.· Effective management of the IT governance process.· Effectively execute IT strategic planning in alignment with company and overall strategies.· Lead business and technical design sessions with a clear business objective supporting a long term solution.· Serves as a member of the FRNA IT leadership team and participates in the team ??s strategic business and technology planning for the IT organization.· Build team of highly competent employees, capable of coordinating all IT activities in support of their respective site objectives.· Reports to site operations management on information technology plans, projects, performance, and related matters.· Work closely with IT management team to assure alignment of IT activities with commitments to our business partners.· Provide sufficient and appropriate resources for the sites. Ensure high quality in execution and conformance. Position Requirements: · Bachelor ??s degree, preferably in Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline.· 10-15 years experience in IT or equivalent with proven successful management, project management, and consulting experience in a manufacturing environment on a large or global scope.· Have an excellent knowledge of technology and manufacturing functionality. Dynamic leadership ability that can develop and energize multi-discipline, high-performance work teams to apply skills and techniques to business needs.· Thorough knowledge and understanding of business principles and business processes.
