Our client is a privately owned company catering to the food and beverage markets. The company has been in operation for more than 25 years and employs over 550 people.Job Responsibilities:1) Supervise day-to-day activities of the assigned department2) Provide guidance and training to hourly workforce to ensure that safety, production, quality assurance and supply chain goals are met3) Meet schedule commitments on a timely basis by producing sufficient finished products to meet sales requirements within quality and cost goals4) Resolve (proactively) employee-disciplinary issues/concerns with assistance from Manager/HR5) Plan, organize and implement QA function on the assigned shift6) Support the plant's GMP and participate in monthly audits7) Oversee finished goods/RM/packaging status control by assigning dispositions to all holds and managing proper corrective-action process8) Ensure timely and accurate shipments of orders, receipt of materials and production reporting9) Follow all sanitation, communication, safety, quality and employee-relations programs10) Prepare and submit all required reports on a timely basis11) Oversee plant maintenance, quality control and warehousing to obtain optimum efficiency of operations and maximize profits12) Fix production problems13) Follow production and company objectives to direct associates.
