Job Description:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
„« Set up and operate CNC lathes and mills
„« Accurately manufacture parts to specifications, including deburring completely
„« Complete first piece inspections
„« Responsible for daily maintenance and clean-up of machines and work areas
„« Ability to use a variety of hand tools such as: hammer, pliers, screwdriver, wrench, drill, grinder, banding machine
„« Ability to use measuring tools such as: tape measure, box caliper, slide dial caliper, and micrometer, height gauges, radius gauges or any other measuring equipment
„« Responsible for providing error-free work to all customers
„« Ability to operate forklift
„« Ability to read and interpret simple blueprints
Job Requirements:
Qualifications, Trainings, & Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or three (3) years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience; must be familiar with G code programming
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
• Reasoning: ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagrammatic form; deal with problems involving several known variables in standardized situations.
• Mathematical: ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals; ability to compute ratio, rate, and percent; ability to read and interpret metal rule.
• Language: good command of the English language, both written and verbal
