Job Description:
Responsible for performing various activities related to business analysis and/or modeling.
Duties may include: performing complex analysis and/or modeling that maximizes profits
and/or asset growth and minimizes credit and/or operating losses and other risk exposures; providing analytical support on retail credit, operating losses and other product strategies to ensure company goals are met; segmenting and monitoring various credit, deposit and other product groups, vintages, concentration limits, etc. and making recommendations to management based on those trends; producing performance monitoring and benchmarks regarding growth, mix, delinquency, losses and overall profitability and performance; coordinating the production of monthly, quarterly, and annual performance reports for senior management; reviewing and analyzing trends in current population distributions and
recommending strategies May develop more complex programming models to extract data and/or manipulate databases to provide statistical and financial modeling. May manage the roll-out of company-wide pilot programs developed as a result of programmed models. Development and implementation of business strategies for strategic collection initiatives . Maintenance of strategy tracking documentation and reporting on strategy effectiveness. Validation of existing and newly developed Collections Behaviorial Models.
Ad-hoc analytics related to all front end Collections strategy efforts.
Job Requirements:
1 - 3 years experience in an analytic position
Proficiency with the SAS and/or SQL programming languages
Extensive experience in analyzing data, identifying trends and customer behavior segmentation
Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite of software
Preferred Skills
Proficiency in SQL programming language
College degree in a quantitative discipline preferred
Proficiency with Knowledge Studio CHAID decision tree software
Experience with account management analytics
Experience in building business strategies related to customer account management and collections
