Job Description:
Main responsibilities would include development and implementation of account acquisition/origination and account behavior scorecards either as part of a team or on an individual basis with minimum guidance. Support and maintenance of existing scorecard monitoring/validation and other MIS reports. Act as a backup in the production of Quarterly BASEL QIS reports. Provide analytic support to the various product groups within Business Direct.
Minimum Qualifications
2 to 3 years of work experience in the financial services industry. Master's degree in a quantitative discipline such as Statistics, Economics, Operations Research or related field is required. Advanced to Medium Proficiency in SAS on UnixOperating System, SQL, Oracle RDBMS and Microsoft Office are expected. Prior experience in building additive scorecards (similar to FICO score) using non-linearoptimization techniques (mainly logistic regression) is a must. Good Oral/Written Communication skills.Team player capable of working in a fast paced environment and can deliver tangible results.
Preferred Skills
Use of CART/CHAID software to build decision trees. Knowledge of the FDR systemand master-file information would be a plus. Prior small business banking experience is definitely a plus. Working knowledge of Dun & Bradstreet and/or ExperianBusiness Bureau data. Prior experiencing in using Xeno, a scorecard software tool to build scorecards would be highly desirable.
