Job Description:
PART-TIME Shift 5:30pm - 12:00am CUSTOMER SERVICE - Available immediately. Must be available for training.
Full benefits and travel on United Airlines starting the first day of employment.
The responsibilities of a Customer Service Representative (CSR) consist of a variety of tasks at an airport involving customer contact and operational duties. Assignments may consist of , but are not limited to, work in the following areas: ticket counter including lobby, gate, baggage services, international departures and arrivals, automated check-in-control, operations center, premium services, red carpet room and customer assistance areas.
The position requires a combination of mental and physical capabilities (e.g., pushing, pulling of carts; performs duties in bending, kneeling, walking, standing, squatting and stooping; lifts heavy items up to 70 pounds).
-Work in the baggage arrival and Lost and Found areas and be required to lift items up to 70 pounds
-Operate loading bridges for arriving and departing flights
-Assist customers with quoting schedules
-Make reservations
-Baggage check-in
-Flight check-in/boarding
-Resolving disservice situations
Part-time schedules are normally four to six hours per day, 20 to 32 hours per week. The workweek consists of 5 days with two consecutive days off. Days off may rotate weekly or monthly. Full-time training is required for the first three-weeks. A valid passport is also necessary to be able to attend training.
Starting salary is $11.38 CAD per hour. New employees are required to join the union within 90 days of employment. Additionally, permanent employees are eligible for medical, dental and life insurance benefits, as well as flight benefits on the first day of employment.
