Job Description:
Beantown Staffing, LLC is seeking a senior-level Quality Assurance Engineer to join our innovative and dynamic team. The ideal candidate will thrive in a small startup environment and be comfortable playing several roles at the same time.
You will be responsible for the following:
-Building and leading the QA Department
-Developing and implementing best-practice QA and release-to-manufacturing processes
-Developing and executing test plans for our clients core products
-Developing and implementing automated testing systems
-Administering the in-house Software Configuration Management (SCM) and bug-tracking systems
Job Requirements:
-7+ years experience as a QA Engineer (both Software and Hardware experience preferred)
-3+ years hands-on experience leading a QA Team
-In-depth knowledge of the Linux operating system including commands, utilities, configuration, and networking
-Solid working knowledge of IP networks and network protocols; ability to troubleshoot network problems and communication issues between networked systems
-Experience developing automated test suites for large networked systems
-Solid working knowledge of the Bash, Perl, and Tcl/Expect scripting languages
-Experience testing Voice-over-IP (VoIP) systems is highly preferred
-In-depth knowledge of using and administering SCM and bug-tracking systems
-Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to wear several hats in a dynamic small team environment
-BS CS/EE or equivalent
