Job Description:
DFW Company looking for CNC Set up and Machine Operators
Set up and operatiing machines and equipment other than coiling machines, such as welding machines, shot blaster, grinder and heat treatment equipment.
Read production orders, blue prints, and internal control plan for product specifications such as dimensions and tolerances
Read tooling instructions such as fixtures, feed rates, cutting speeds and wire retrieval procedures
Be able to select, position and secure tooling
Be able to feed wire into machines
Set up dimensions in accordance with print and control plan
Move controls to position tool and workpiece in relation to each other and to set specified feeds, speeds
Observe operation of machine and verify conformance of workpiece to specifications
Be able to inspect and check first piece
Make necessary allowances after heat treating
Operate bench grinder to sharpen tools
