Job Description:
Position Summary: Under the general direction of the Construction Sales Manager, this position exists to provide support and assistance in all facets of the implementation of Trimble and Accu-Grade product lines. Incumbent will be responsible for training and technical support.
Job Requirements:
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
1. Must have a high school diploma or have passed a GED test.
2. Must have working knowledge of Word and Excel; Microsoft Office Suite.
3. Must have a valid Hawaii “Class 3” Drivers License with a good driving record.
4. Must have survey experience.
5. Trimble/Accu-Grade experience is preferred.
6. Civil Engineer Degree is preferred.
7. Demonstrate excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
8. Ability to work in a team environment and possess a positive attitude.
9. Ability to multitask and establish priorities.
10 Ability to maintain a flexible attitude and approach towards assignments and successfully operate under ambiguous guidelines.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
1. Walking and moving about on foot often through uneven terrain, up and down stairs.
2. Handling: Seizes objects, works with hands.
3. Lifting: Raises or lowers items which are at least 50lbs.
4. Reaching: Extends hands and arms in any direction.
5. Stooping: Bends body downward and forward by bending at knees or waist.
6. Standing: Remains in standing position if required to perform various functions of the job.
7. Climbing: In and out of equipment.
8. Vision: Reads paperwork and support material on the computer.
9. Talking: Communicates by radio, phone, and in person.
10. Sitting: Sits at a desk. Sits for minimal amounts of time.
TESTING REQUIREMENTS:
Applicants may be required to pass a written and/or oral examination before being considered for employment in this position.
PHYSICAL STRENGTH:
Lifting: Frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds daily.
ENVIRONMENTAL:
1. Noise: Works in conditions with constant or intermittent noise.
2 Temp/Weather: Works in an inside and outside environment with variations of temperature and weather.
3. Exposure: Foul odors, fumes and harsh substances.
