Job Description:
Manager - Environment Management
Position Overview:
Lead a team of technical resources responsible for the install and configuration of Enabler and OMS as part of the Environment Management team. In addition, the role includes leading the EM activities around any project related to Amdocs.
Responsibilities:
-Constantly work with Amdocs to improve their deployment process, hot fix process, performace improvement, etc.
-Work with the QA team, to make sure they have the needed code in their environments and work with them to resolve issues.
-Coordinate and deploy new versions and hot fixes to production.
-Work with the QA team to analyze their future environments demand and plan EM resources accordingly.
-Work with other teams in the organization that require EM support.
-Work with production support team to identify and resolve issues in production.
-Lead a team of EM resources on site and off shore supporting multiple projects on multiple environments.
-Working with the infra team to make sure EM has all the needed hardware for current and future support.
Job Requirements:
Required Knowledge:
-WebLogic admin (install and configure)
-Java
-Basic Unix, Unix admin and unix script (k-shell, tcshell, perl)
-Oracle & SQL
-Experience with IIS
Required Experience & Abilities:
-Good communication skills
-Ability to work with vendor (Amdocs)
-Ability to work with and coordinate activities of multiple different teams
-Motivation to work hard and provide around-the-clock support for critical issues
-Experience as a developer a huge asset, preferable in Java
-Experience leading teams of at least 10 members
-Experience working in large organizations
-Experience working with Amdocs will be great advantage
