Job Description:
Manage equipment repair and PM's. Establish priorities, direct field and shop repairs and equipment servicing. 15% - Problem solving, improving work process and operating efficiencies. 15% - Safety implementation of effective safety programs and all EHS and MSHA policy and procedures. 10% - Positive two-way communication, fair and consistent administration of company policy and procedures. 10% - Compliance with all division/facility policies and procedures. Requirements Required: * High school diploma or equivalent * Minimum of 2.5 years Underground experience or equivalent (see Ohio Mining Safety Law 1561.16). * Strong mechanical skills in hydraulics, conveyors and power trains. * Cutting and welding skill knowledge, basic mechanical gearing and rigging. Basic electrical knowledge - low voltage; ie lighting/charging systems for mobile equipment. * Minimum of 3 years experience with maintenance and repair of bulk material handling systems; electrical equipment or installation and mobile equipment maintenance to qualify for State of Ohio Surface Foreman certification. * Min 2 years experience in maintenance scheduling. * Working knowledge with Environmental Health and Safety * Ability to work 1st shift, 2nd shift and/or 3rd shift. Preferred: * Degree preferred with focus in electrical engineering, mining engineer, maintenance, or journeyman's license with the State. * Coaching: Acknowledge, develops & rewards competencies & results; addresses people issues/opportunities; develops team. * Communication: Strong written communication skills, interpersonal skills.
