Job Description:
Region Service Manager, Automated Product Specialist). The focus of the PSM will be supporting Roadranger mechanical products including drive axles, drive shafts and mechanical transmissions. In addition, the PSM will be expected to:Critical Outputs:A. Within guidelines of the PROLaunch discipline utilized by the different product groups, proactively define and develop the necessary service support architecture per agreed upon dates.B. Provide necessary content for development of service support materials such as Service Manual, Troubleshooting Guides, Driver Manuals, Training Programs, etc.C. Develop and execute effective support strategies for Eaton and Dana driveline system issuesD. Define, or participate in existing, divisional Product Performance Review teams to aggressively drive product improvements and effective field strategiesEssential Functions:A. Utilize, define if necessary, systematic processes to identify product performance issues and manage corrective action and implementation based on the Customer Complaint Management process. Metrics include time to containment and field strategy availability.B. Support, as required, of field personnel including Call Center and RFM field personnel. Support may include technical assistance or customer visits to better understand product or customer issues.C. On-going development and improvement of department processes utilizing EBS methodologies.D. Obtain minimum required training including professional and technical topics in support of development plans defined during performance review process.
