Job Description:
Electronic Manufacturing Supervisor (Swing Shift) Responsibilities: Implement SEL values and objectives in order to achieve corporate goals. Supervise production schedules, production quality and on-time delivery. Assign assembler duties, establish training needs and oversee training. Define assembler performance standards, review outcome of performance goals and set future targets for assemblers. Identify staffing and capital needs, collect data and write the justification for those needs. Create, update and ensure control of department work instructions. Coordinate and develop new product design with engineering staff and participate in new product launch. Improve quality and delivery costs by product family. Encourage assembly staff professional development. Identify and address personnel issues. Work within established safety and quality standards. Follow and improve manufacturing area processes. Qualifications: 2 years Electronic Assembly Supervisory experience Plated through-hole experience (masking, auto-insertion, wave solder, rework) Two years leadership experience High school diploma or G.E.D. Excellent communication and leadership skills Ability to follow detailed technical instructions Basic computer skills: Word, Excel, Access Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities Ability to work cooperatively in team environment Background check results satisfactory to SEL Negative drug test result(s) Preferred Qualifications: College degree (BS or BA) SMT Experience An Award Winning Company Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories, Inc.
