To maintain a safe work environment by ensuring safety policies are been followed by all maintenance personnel?Responsible for the proper completion of preventive maintenance and work orders?Responsible for work assignments to mechanics?Ensure that breakdown calls are answered quickly?Ensure that the best quality of work is being done?Ensure compliance with good manufacturing practices and safety standards?Responsible for assistance in staffing and training mechanics?Responsible for weekly inspections of equipment?Ensure equipment is maintained to ensure line efficiencies and to improve key performance indicators by minimizing downtime?Responsible for helping ordering parts and taking inventory?Communicate with and assist Engineering Manager?Work closely with other department heads to assure smooth operations?Schedule maintenance personnel?Adhere to all company policies?May be required to work overtime?Kronos knowledge a plus and/or experience in a similar timekeeping system.?Support the department in preparing and adhering to the department budget - always seeking innovative ways to improve efficiencies and reduce costs.
