Job Description:
Develops and manages programs and training to implement Department of Defense (DoD), Air Force (AF, and higher headquarters policies. Directs and manages security forces operations for the installation with responsibility for protecting military, dependent, DoD civilian, and contractor populations and protection level resources. Addresses subordinates\' concerns, whether perceived or real, and follows up with appropriate action to correct or eliminate tension in the workplace. Supports the agency\'s EEO program. This announcement may be used to fill one or more vacancies. MILITARY SPOUSE PREFERENCE: Spouses of active duty military members may be eligible for consideration under DEU competitive examining. Equivalent experience may be at the level of the lowest GS grade covered by the applicable pay band; however, the experience must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities (KSA\'s) to successfully perform the duties of the position being filled. OR EDUCATION: Master's Degree or equivalent graduate degree. OR Two (2) Full Years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree. OR LL.B. OR J.D., if related. OR Combination of Education and Experience. PART-TIME OR UNPAID EXPERIENCE: Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid work on the same basis as for paid experience. Part-time experience will be credited on the basis of time actually spent in appropriate activities. To receive credit for such experience you must indicate clearly the nature of the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the number of hours per week spent in such employment.
