Platforms & Infrastructure Division is chartered with the task of building and delivering world-class platforms that power services on and off the Yahoo! network. This team has an exciting and highly visible opportunity for a Manager / Senior Manager of Operations-Finance. This finance leader will drive operating and financial performance analysis, metrics, systems, and internal controls, and will work closely with Corporate and cross-functional leadership. Primarily, this position will support IT and select platforms teams, as well as leading broader divisional projects. Responsibilities:* Serve as business partner, influencing group strategy and providing business intelligence and insight to drive long-term value.* Develop and implement key operating performance indicators that translate division strategy / priorities into specific, measurable metrics.* Drive long term planning efforts. Establish goals and operational action plan to achieve them.* Drive the 8-quarter forecasting effort. This will involve integration of many operating and performance metrics into the financial plans and models across the groups supported.* Ensure that analytic tools are sufficient to adequately provide visibility and insight into business drivers.* Drive business case and ROI analysis to support investment in new initiatives and capital.* Develop and provide reporting analysis for Yahoo! corporate.Experience, Qualifications, and Skills Required:* Five+ years of relevant work experience with progressively increasing responsibilities including team leadership. MBA preferred. Ideal experience includes roles in business planning with a multi-national corporation or roles in a large management consulting firm within the Strategy or Operations practice.
