Job Description:
Director Global Sourcing for manufacturer and distributor of entertainment hardware with revenues in excess of $100 Million. Operations include manufacturing and distribution operation in the U.S. and sourcing through the U.S. and Asia. Will report to Vice President Operations with responsibility for purchasing, inventory replenishment, forecasting, operations planning and materials requirements planning. Background Required: Supply Chain Management (8-10 yrs), Strategic Sourcing, Asian sourcing and travel to China, Supervision of Purchasing & Inventory department, Inventory Management concepts (turns, VMI, reductions), Contract Negotiations, Demand Forecasting, Sales and operations planning (new product introduction, promotions, etc.), Capability to utilize systems to access & analyze data for decision making, Knowledge of EDI fundamentals (ie Purchasing, VMI, Forecasting), Education: 4 year college Degree, MBA Preferred Background Preferred (but not required): APICS Certification, Management of Supply Chain metrics (turns, out of stock, purchase price variance Apply Here In order to view the contact details for this job, you must be a member of 6FigureJobs.
