Primary responsibilities include: Managing a data resources team Ensuring that production reports are produced and include accurate information Working with the ad hoc reporting area and ensuring these requests are assigned and executed appropriately Reporting on, reviewing and maintaining the data that supports actual cost, medical management and utilization analysis Managing the team with day-to-day issues, including reviewing work quality and conducting performance reviews Participating in leadership committee meetings Participating in user acceptance testing when system changes occur Requirements: Requirements for this role are: A background in data analysis and reporting Experience working in the healthcare / managed care industry Leadership experience Strong MS Office expertise, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access Preferred assets include: Project management experience SQL experience Familiarity with relational databases Experience with Cognos, ReportNet and SAS A Bachelors degree in a related field UnitedHealth Group offers a full range of comprehensive benefits to full-time and part-time employees, including medical, dental and vision, as well as a matching 401k and an employee stock purchase plan.
