Job Description:
The right candidate must have 3-5 years supply chain management experience, be very hands on and passionate about supply chain, have great communication skills as they will be interacting with customers and must have an electronics background. You will be a strategic liaison between our client and its customers for continuity of supply for marketed products. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:-Lead SEA and customer-driven supply chain initiatives-Act as primary interface with customers\' senior SCM and Operations Management to drive collaborative process improvements -Manage Supply Chain team, including Forecast Manager and CPFR and allocation personnel-Coordinate actions of MIS, operations, sales and logistics teams for CPFR and Direct Ship/Import programs-Drive actions to achieve company objectives for customer service levels and inventory planning-Proactively identifies and challenges activities that will detract from planned objectives-Synchronize activities with Global Operations and other Samsung North American Logistics and Supply Chain departmentsREQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:-CPFR training and experience -Familiarity with SAP and I2 environment-MBA or equivalent work experience-Supervisory competence and strong background in high volume, time sensitive environment.-Common sense, strong organizational skills.
