We are currently recruiting a Director of Surgical Services. This is a full-time salaried position. Position Description: The department director is responsible for the Strategic Vision and oversight of operations and patient care for their assigned area of responsibility at Providence Centralia Hospital. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, planning and directing patient care; participating in standing and ad hoc committees; communication with patients, family members, physicians, and colleagues; budget development, administration, and monitoring; controlling and evaluating department activities; evaluating and implementing new tools, technologies, and procedures; and is the hospital's representative for their assigned area of responsibility. Minimum Qualifications: Education: Required: Bachelor's degree in relevant field. Preferred: Master's degree in relevant field, Business, or Healthcare Administration. License/Certification: Valid applicable license in the State of Washington. Experience: Required: 5 years total experience in the area of assigned responsibility in an organization of similar size and complexity.
