This position is ultimately responsible for medical staff credentialing/reappointment (provider/payer/managed care) via state of the art credentialing software and the supervision of Medical Staff Coordinators. The incumbent will oftentimes facilitate the interaction with the Chief Medical Officer and Clinical Leadership, Providers, Commercial Payers, State and Federal Agencies such as CMS, other institutions, etc. Medical Staff Office experience, 2 of which involve exposure and knowledge of credentialing is required.
