Job Description:
Under minimal supervision, this position supervises and may perform various student services and/or operational activities for a campus, learning center, or division. Required Knowledge, Skills and Ability: A thorough knowledge of business and/or education as normally obtained through the completion of a bachelor's degree in business, education, or related field. Must have proven experience in a progressively responsible capacity in an education, service, operations, or business environment organizing, administering, and/or leading a variety of functional areas within a department or division. Must have proven experience participating and/or assisting in the development, implementation, and/or enforcement of department and/or divisional budgets, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures, as described above. Must have excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills to effectively interact with students, faculty, as well as, campus and/or learning center personnel. Proven sales or marketing experience entailing one-on-one interaction is highly preferred. Must possess the ability to convey a professional image, as well as effectively represent the organization as appropriate in its relationship with external customers. Must have a working knowledge of personal software packages to perform word processing and spreadsheet activities. Must also have a working knowledge of record management software to supervise the recording, tracking, and maintenance of student academic information, as described above. Must be results oriented and able to independently supervise multiple processes, and activities simultaneously.
