Job Description:
Under minimal supervision, this position manages various student services and/or operational activities throughout the campus, learning center or division. Required Knowledge, Skills and Ability: A thorough knowledge of business and/or education as normally obtained through the completion of a bachelor's degree in business, education, or related field. Must have proven experience in a progressively responsible capacity in an education, service, operations, or business environment leading and/or supervising a variety of functional areas within a department or division. Must be able to demonstrate a high level of conceptual and strategic thinking to participate and/or lead the development of budgets, goals, objectives, processes and activities, as described above. Must have excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills to effectively interact with students, faculty, as well as, campus and/or learning center personnel. Must have a working knowledge of personal software packages to perform word processing and spreadsheet activities. Must also have a working knowledge of record management software to manage the recording, tracking, and maintenance of student academic information, as described above. Must be results oriented and able to organize, prioritize and independently manage multiple projects, processes and activities simultaneously.
