Job Description:
This uniquely niche, privately held restaurant group seeks an individual who has demonstrated ability to:-purchase/contract commodities (protein, non-food, potatoes, beverages, etc.) -exper to be involved in product development, cross functional teams, Q/A, franchise relations, etc. -stand on their own two feet as they are it as regards the Company's supply chain function (purchasing, contracting and distribution). There is one direct report (Purchasing Manager) -be fully responsible and accountable and hence requires little oversight -travel up to 40% -present to the senior leadership group- have the tough discussions and be seen as the steward of this function, both to the franchise community and to fellow colleagues REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE: College degree highly desired (comparable real world experience will be considered).
