Job Description:
Vortx, Inc. is seeking a Web Designer with programming background to join our talented team. The Web Designer works closely with internal and external teams involved in the eCommerce website development process and is responsible for designing and implementing the design of websites. Job Requirements:
Requirements:
Strong aptitude for user interface design and usability, in addition to a strong grasp of color, layout, and design principles.
Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures of digital and print graphic design.
Knowledge of HTML and CSS and understanding of web standards.
Proficiency with standard design tools, i.e. Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash.
Strong interest in eCommerce and the user experience.
Ability to work with a positive attitude as a member of a team.
Ability to produce and implement designs under tight timelines.
Flexibility and good communication skills.
High technical aptitude and attention to detail.
Ability to take direction and prioritize tasks.
Experience with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Outlook
Knowledge of marketing standards and conventions.
Bachelors Degree in Graphic or Web Design or similar field OR 3-4 years practical experience in designing and programming websites.
