Job Description:
The Operations Analyst will involve: analytical, statistical & drill down capability into our hotel's profit and cash performance, monthly completion of hotel financial profit and cash flow statements, preparation of internal Executive Committee packs on a monthly basis, preparation of Owner / external reporting to specified contractual monthly dates, proactively improving and streamlining the automation and flow of our existing excel worksheets, hitting key calendar reporting deadlines and responding timely to ad hoc requests, working closely and effectively with the P&A and Accounting teams and Operations / HO management, and front-line assistance in the annual budget preparation, reporting and presentations. Education & Experience: * Accounting or Business Administration related degree, including systems concentration * Hospitality industry current experience a must, for a minimum of 2 years* Strong working knowledge in Microsoft, Excel, Access and PowerPoint. In particular advanced skills in Excel spreadsheet development and PowerPoint presentations* Proven experience in implementations of new processes and interfaces / links between Microsoft Dynamics and Excel and across Excel models.* Sharp analytical skills and investigative mind. Attention to detail, task oriented.* Self driven to meet deadlines and be proactive to get the job done.Physical Requirements:* Long hours sometimes required.* Light Work - Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and /or 10 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.* Must be willing to be flexible in work hours depending on assignments & timelines Job Requirements: Mental Requirements:* Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly.* Must work well in stressful, high-pressure situations.* Must be able to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately.* Must be able to perform in a fast paced and accurate, to ensure achieve productivity and credibility standards.
