Works with and influences operational risk and business management to identify, formulate and implement operational risk policies, procedures and controls for the respective business and/or functional area. Creates and oversees the development and implementation of operational risk programs, assigns risk ratings consistent with established policy standards and evaluates results. Provides operational risk expertise to business unit projects and initiatives. Ensures coordination and communication within the business, with other business units, the Law Department and Internal Audit. Manages the development of business cases to influence management on the need for controls and works with management to resolve issues, address deficiencies and change the business unit’s policies and procedures to mitigate risk. Prepares management reporting. Manages budgets and a small team of consultants/specialists. This position requires partnering with all levels of management within the deposit risk operations units in addition to interaction/partnering with other Wells Fargo business units and operational risk management groups. Minimum Qualifications BS/BA or equivalent and minimum of 6 years experience, including 3 years of management experience. Demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate to achieve results. Stellar communication, analytical and problem solving skills.
