Job Description: As an integral part of Kershner's Operations team, the Operations Support Technician (OST) will work intimately with mission-critical proprietary trading and analytics systems. This includes both the Client trading and analytics application and the Server side applications. The OST will work closely with traders, developers and product managers in addition to other trading room support and system administration people. Principal duties will include: Level-1 and level-2 production support for trading and analytics system. System configuration - Configuring new Trader workstations and servers as needed. Deployment activities - Deploy software to traders workstations and servers as needed. Will also be responsible for testing the software after the rollout. Maintain Servers.
