Maintaining the local aspect of our business continues to be an integral part of our success. DESCRIPTION: The Supply Chain Intiative Manager (Warehouse) provides oversight and support for the Business Unit warehouses in the territory to reduce costs and improve customer service. Work closely with Warehouse Managers and the Business Unit/Market Unit Supply Chain teams as a floor oriented, hands-on resource. RESPONSIBILITIES: Reduce operating expenses and improve customer service in warehouses.Analyze warehouses for opportunities with: staffing, overtime, productivity, space utilization, capacity and layout.Manage the warehouse budget process for the region.Work with Sales Centers to develop plans to improve performance. Support the key initiative of implementation and leverage of POD and i-WIN throughout the Business Unit.Facilitate and coordinate warehouse productivity training.Ensure accurate and timely KBI reporting.Ensure internal controls policies and procedures are adhered to for warehouse operations.Act as the Business Unit/Market Unit expert in SAP inventory.Work with Market Unit Leadership teams and Sales Center Management to develop training programs and coordinate hiring activities. QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of experience and education required.
