The business is looking to expand its volume capacity tremendously over the next 2 years. The successful candidate will perform work across the entire lifecycle of the trading transactions. The candidate must possess a tangible understanding and work experience working with various products, as well as staying up to date with new products being introduced into the market. Daily responsibilities include: --Assist in calculating and reporting daily P&L using Bloomberg TOMS system as well as reconciling/liaising with Accounting and Finance who reconcile to the GL. --Interacting with broker/dealer/customer counterparties to confirm transactions and obtain/process trade allocations. --Use the Bloomberg TOMS system and Pershing Net Exchange Pro system to open new counterparty accounts and sub-accounts. --Correspond on a daily basis with the Firm-s clearing bank to resolve trading/settlement problems and deal with ad-hoc queries including settlement, confirmations, trade status etc. --Maintain accurate records and files of trading activity including critical reports and supporting documents. --Establish a thorough understanding of the transaction life cycle and the link between the various down stream systems.
