Job Description: Ensures safety and security of clients, staff, and property in and around facilities, emergency apartments, and properties owned and managed by Westhab. Work is performed under the general supervision of a Shift Supervisor and/or Security Manager.
Job Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent. Any education, knowledge and/or experience in a human service environment is preferred. Must be NY State Certifiable. Good writing skills and phone manner essential. General knowledge of security systems. Ability to identify problems and behaviors of MICA clients. Ability to utilize CPI techniques when necessary. Car and/or knowledge of public transportation system. Must be able to work flexible shifts, days, holidays and overtime. Home phone is mandatory.
