Experience supporting Fairchild SA227 aircraft desired. Understanding and correct application of FAA, Department of Defense, US Army and US Air Force operations procedures and documentation requirements is essential. Experience with Deltek Costpoint financial accounting system and Continuum Corridor aircraft maintenance management system desired. Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly MS Excel, is essential.Position requires the ability to pass and maintain a security clearance. Job Description : Responsible for managing repair parts purchasing and inventory support to a contractor logistics support program for Army and Air Force National Guard C-26 aircraft worldwide. Manages inventory levels and purchasing processes to maintain aircraft operational readiness; manages rotable components removed from aircraft to ensure serviceable asset availability to support customer requirements; maintains visibility and accountability of customer-furnished equipment and components; analyzes consumption data to determine cost effective stockage levels that enable the program to sustain required operational readiness rates; and coordinates with supporting procurement and financial support staffs to ensure continuous support and accurate reporting.Essential duties:1. Ensures that only FAA/PMA or properly manufactured parts are purchased to support the program, and that all parts used to support the program have full traceability.2. Maintains accurate records of repair history for individual components, including cost and repair turnaround performance as required. Coordinates with Quality Assurance Department to identify performance trends that may indicate specific aircraft or vendor problems. Recommend corrective actions to program management and procurement staffs as appropriate.3. Develop and implement a program property management plan in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation and contract requirements.4. Determine disposition for rotable components removed from aircraft, including components repaired under warranty and issues; issues repair orders to vendors or work orders for in-house repairs.
