The Position The Director of Operations will provide overall direction for an assigned region of surgery centers, as well as new facilities added to the area Interfaces with board of directors, health system relationships, physician owners and corporate personnel Will assist with strategic planning, physician relationships, contract negotiations and mentoring members of the surgery center management Direct reports include administrators at each site Reports to the Vice President of Operations Qualified candidates will have a bachelor''s degree; master''s preferred and a minimum of five years in an ambulatory healthcare setting, as well as ten years in a management role Seeking a strong leader with excellent communication and organizational skills Requires approximately 40% travel Competitive salary and benefits, plus bonusThe Organization The organization partners with local shareholders to provide development and management to outpatient surgery centers, surgical hospitals and diagnostic imaging centers With 32 ambulatory surgery center sites, and eight under development, one hospital with one under development and several sites in the United Kingdom, the organization is growing As a partner to seven regional health systems, they provide a tailored approach to outpatient services delivery in each marketThe Community The locations listed are central to each region and will be negotiableCincinnati, Ohio - A city of nearly 2 million that allows residents to enjoy a low cost of living, excellent schools and a growing economy.
