Your duties and responsibilities are embodied in the five steps of MAGIC and are essential to the successful execution thereof. Position summary Support general resort operations and maintenance functions by managing the general upkeep of the resort by directing and performing preventative maintenance procedures and maintaining resort quality standards. Leading staff to deliver on exceptional customer service and guest delight by utilizing the five steps of MAGICŪ. Essential, Functions and Tasks Maintain standard maintenance and ground scores by performing all phases of resort maintenance including preventative maintenance to ensure guest satisfaction. Administrative skills to include assisting in the preparation of the grounds and maintenance budgets, monitor monthly financials, employee hiring, training, coaching, and evaluations, etc. Responsible for ensuring the quality of work provided by the technicians and the sub-contractors. Monitors coordinates and corrects all Association maintenance problems. Maintains logs and documentation relevant to maintenance operations in accordance with Wyndham VO policies and procedures. Recommends and implements maintenance action involving preventative, corrective and instructive actions. Responsible to oversee inventory is maintained and records are up to date of inventory purchased and compliance with all Standard Operating Procedures. Qualifications Software Skills: Basic understanding of MS Office, Excel, Word, and Outlook Technical Skills: High School Diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.). HVAC/EPA Certification Must have at least 2 years of electrical and refrigeration /AC/ plumbing experience Must have a minimum of 3 to 5 years supervisory or management experience Construction/renovations experience a plus Must have valid drivers license and clean driving record Personal Skills: Ability to deal with guests and staff in a professional manner Knowledge and use of tools, dexterity, knowledge of appliances, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, small engine repair, etc. Must be current on local, state and federal codes that are pertinent. Must have ability to deal with everyday repeated situations as well as be able to adapt to new challenges and requirements. Must have organizational skills, leadership abilities, and self-motivator. Must be able to work under pressure. Must be able to respond quickly in emergency situations, remain collected and take decisive action. Must be able to be on call and work weekends, and holidays as required with flexible hours. Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift/carry 50 lbs or more Extensive lifting of supplies or equipment, walking, reaching, climbing, and bending
