Job Description:
Software Engineer (back end) – Cambridge, MA
Requirements:
• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
• One to three years development experience with J2EE or Java EE 5 (preferably in Open Source environments).
• Fluency in JBoss Seam (JSF, Hibernate, EJB 3.0)
• RDBMS expertise MS SQL Server, MySQL, ORACLE, or Postgres
• Linux/Unix environment proficiency
• Experience with multi-tier application development.
• Understanding issues surrounding large scale web applications: scalability, performance, security, maintainability, etc.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• High-degree of creativity and strong analytical mindset
• One to five years of experience with above skill set
Job Requirements:
Preferred:
• Experience with other Java frameworks, including Struts, Spring, and Eclipse
• Experience with data analytics, high-volume transaction processing systems, or Bayesian prediction algorithms
• Experience with web browser technology such as HTML, DHTML, JavaScript, DOM, XML/XSLT, AJAX
• Fluency in Maven
• Experience with ColdFusion
