We are currently seeking a Supervisor/Manufacturing Engineer to coordinate the activities of the Manufacturing Engineering (ME) Team. · Oversee, coordinate and/or implement through the ME Team; new production processes, procedures, tooling, capital equipment and supporting documentation necessary to manufacture and deliver high quality products to our customers on time. · Assure effective use of materials, equipment and associates in manufacturing high quality products at minimum costs. * Provide timely and effective technical support for day-to-day problem resolution impacting production output, quality, safety and costs. · Develop and implement modern fabrication and assembly techniques for electronic assemblies including all processes associated with PTH, SMT, cleaning, soldering, and mechanical assembly. · Participate in new product introductions, DFMA reviews, router generation/improvement and process refinements to introduce new products and reduce costs on existing product. · Lead, mentor and provide performance feedback to the ME Team. · * Mentor other Teams in the organization and work with our customers to achieve our strategic goals. Requirements: · BS Degree in Engineering · Minimum of 5-8 years related manufacturing engineering experience in electronic/electrical PTH, SMT and mechanical assembly techniques preferably in the military contract manufacturing industry, plus a minimum of 2 years supervisory experience.
