A background security investigation will be required for all new hires. Appointment will be subject to the applicants successful completion of a background security investigation and favorable adjudication prior to the first duty day. Failure to successfully meet these requirements will delay for entering on duty. Selected applicants may qualify for credit toward annual leave accrual, based on prior non-Federal or military service experience. Federal Retirees may be approved for appointment without a reduction in their retirement pay. It is the responsibility of each applicant to verify that his/her Official Personnel Folder (OPF) is current and shows all work experience and credentials prior to the closing date of this announcement.
