Job Description:
The following is a list of skills and characteristics which are essential attributes of this assignment: a. A BSN from an NLN accredited School of Nursing or a Bachelor\'s degree in a related field and a Masters Degree in Nursing or a related field required. b. At least three years of previous critical care experience and ACLS certification is required, CCRN certification preferred c. Self-directed and independent toward providing positive patient outcomes. Also, knowledgeable of QI and JCAHO standards. d. Demonstration of effective communication skills and tact in dealing with patients, families, and staff. Establish interdisciplinary interactions with physicians and other health care professionals. e. Ability to work on an interdisciplinary team f. Ability to plan, coordinate, and utilize available staff to accomplish patient care workload. g. Excellent attendance and flexibility in scheduling is necessary. h. Demonstrates effective teaching skills. You must be a U.S. citizen to qualify for this position.You will be subject to random testing for illegal drug use.You must have a certification, licensure, or registration credentials in Licensure for this position. In some cases, these may be substituted for experience and education.You will need to successfully complete a background security investigation, Vetpro credentialing and pre-employment physical before you can be appointed into this position.
