Job Description:
Center Medical Directors function in both clinical and critical leadership roles in occupational health seeing work related injuries, preforming pre-placement, DOT, public safety, and surveillance physical examinations. In addition, our centers are actively expanding into the URGENT CARE market to provide patients a less-costly option where lack of insurance does not disqualify them and where they can receive effective health care treatments ina timely manner. Medical Directors function as part of a leadership team with their operational, sales, and physical therapy counterparts. These positions are primarily clinical, and require strong urgent and primary care clinical skill sets, with specialty knowledge in the field of occupational medicine; Also, supervision and training of back office clinical staff and medical assistants, and reviewing and managing center budgets, coding, and revenue opportunities, and other activities within the centers. Regular hours. Board certification in occupational medicine or primary care specialty is preferred. EDUCATION/CREDENTIALS: • Licensure requirements of the state of jurisdiction • Medical degree from accredited university JOB RELAVENT EXPERIENCE: • 3-5 years applicable experience preferred
