Job Description:
We are seeking a Senior NEPA Program Manager (PM) to manage the entire NEPA review process, including the preparation and administration of technically and legally defensible environmental studies, primarily at the EIS, EA and categorical exclusion levels.
The ideal candidate will have 7-10 years experience performing and marketing NEPA work. Must have experience in managing projects of increasing scope and experience planning, writing and presenting environmental documents for public and regulatory approval; along with the ability to plan, organize, assign and coordinate technical support staff, and subcontractors.
The Senior PM will actively provide guidance and advice to clients on complying with NEPA and related statutes and authorities (Section 106-Historic Preservation Act, Section 7-Endangered Species Act, Section 404-Clean Water Act, the Executive Order on Environmental Justice, etc.). What’s more, the Senior PM will have a major responsibility managing client accounts, engaging in the public involvement and comment-response processes, and document production, in addition to managing multidisciplinary teams, developing and monitoring project budgets and schedules.
Requires a bachelor’s degree in environmental sciences, planning, biology, or a related field is required; a master’s degree is preferred. ACIP certification is a plus to consideration
