Job Description:
This position reports to the Quality Manager.
A well established precision machine shop with a new 51,000 sq ft. manufacturing plant located in Santee, CA has an immediate need for a CMM Programmer. We are AS9100 Registered, NADCAP approved, and specialize in machining parts and assemblies for the aerospace industry.
Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
- Programming and Operating a Brown & Sharpe Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) with PC-DMIS software in a fast-paced environment.

Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Must have 4-5 years minimum in a machining production, manufacturing facility.
- Must be able to read blue prints accurately, be a team player and a good communicator.
- Must be computer literate especially with Excel.
- Must have knowledge of Print Reading of drawings with tolerances.
- Must have Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing .
- Must have knowledge of Basic Dimensional Measurement Tools.
- Must have basic knowledge of PC and Windows
Other software experience needed:
- CAD
- MS Excel (Proficient!)
- Knowledge in GD&T.* and CAD programming a plus.
*GD&T: An International Language
Geometric dimensioning and tolerancing is an international language used on drawings to accurately describe a part. The language consists of a well-defined set of symbols, rules, definitions, and conventions that can be used to describe the size, form, orientation, and location tolerances of part features.
Must possess the requirements above as well as dependability, strong work ethics, being a team player and willingness to work overtime when requested and have their own tools.
